Are there separate areas for small & large dogs as well as temperament?

We have the ability to create different play groups based on each member. While some dogs are comfortable playing with dogs of every shape, size, and play style, others are not. For those dogs we can create play groups in which dogs play with other dogs of similar size and temperament.

This means we have separate groups for puppies, seniors, small dogs, gentle adults and active adults.

FYI – we do not “breed discriminate”.

What if my dog becomes ill or injured?
Before enrolling your dog in daycare, you will be required to fill out an application, complete with emergency contacts and your veterinarian’s information. In the unlikely event of an emergency, if you cannot be reached, we will contact whomever you assigned as your emergency contact. Then we will attempt to contact your vet. If all else fails and we cannot reach anyone associated with the dog, we will use our own discretion and either transport your dog to an emergency vet to assess the dog at the owners’ expense.
What is “interactive doggie day care”?
The philosophy of grouping dogs by size, temperament, and personality makes a lot of sense for creating safe and compatible play environments. The all-day playgroup model is most beneficial – it does mimic more natural pack behaviors compared to the traditional cycle of play-time-then-kennel that. The socialization benefits we mention are extremely important, especially for dogs’ behavioral development. Learning boundaries from other dogs while receiving consistent exercise and mental stimulation can make a huge difference in a dog’s overall well-being and behavior at home. It’s also important to know our boarded dogs get to participate in the same interactive daycare rather than being isolated – that continuity helps reduce stress during overnight stays.

Will my dog get “dirty and/or smelly” during their time in daycare?

Absolutely! Just like kids at recess, dogs get dirty while playing—especially in wet or humid conditions. Light colored pups may show dirt more obviously, but all dogs get equally messy during play. In fact, a dirty dog is a great sign they were active and socializing with their pack!

We wipe down each dog and apply a light spritz of dry shampoo or pet cologne before pickup, but for a thorough clean, we recommend booking a bath at our grooming room in our facility!

My Dog(s) have not spent much time with other dogs, is this a problem?
Dogs participating in group play are assigned to clubhouse playgroups based on size and temperament. Once in a group, they naturally establish their place within the pack—an ongoing process where they typically gravitate toward playmates of similar energy and play style.

While some dogs settle in immediately, others may need a bit more time to feel fully comfortable. It’s amazing to see shy dogs blossom into confident, playful companions! Our trained staff actively monitors interactions and addresses any unwanted behavior promptly.

My dog came home with minor cuts/abrasions?

During Group Play, dogs may engage in vigorous play and wrestling throughout the day. This interaction promotes healthy socialization and provides excellent exercise. Minor cuts or scrapes can occasionally occur during active play—this is a normal part of canine interaction as. Our staff monitors every group continuously, and we maintain a strict no-aggression policy. However, dogs naturally use their teeth and nails when playing with one another, which can sometimes result in minor cuts or abrasions.

While our team closely observes all behavior and interactions, small injuries may occasionally go unnoticed in the moment. Though very rare, more moderate injuries can result from spirited play. Our staff provides constant supervision and attentive care. However, we cannot completely eliminate the possibility of play related injuries, despite our best efforts and personalized attention to each guest in the clubhouse.
