HYBRED ROLE - GROOMER/CLUBHOUSE COACH

This is an opportunity for the right individual who is looking to be part of something truly special.  As we launch our grooming services at Pup E Club USA, Inc. we are seeking to fill a unique dual role. We understand the specialized skills and dedication required in the dog grooming industry, as well as the time needed to establish a successful grooming program.   

With that said, we are looking for an experienced groomer who is also interested in serving as a Clubhouse Coach. This hybrid position offers consistent work at Pup E Club USA, Inc. while allowing you to help build a portfolio of grooming clients while assisting our company in establishing a grooming platform from the ground up.

Job Description

For this hybrid role we are seeking a dedicated, passionate experienced Pet Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for animals and a commitment to delivering exceptional grooming services. As a Pet Groomer, you will ensure the health and well-being of pets while providing high-quality grooming that leaves every furry client looking and feeling their best.  A genuine love for dogs is essential, and upon successful completion of training, you will enjoy the benefit of bringing your own dog to work for free!

Daily responsibilities include grooming services, maintaining clean play areas, and sleeping accommodations, feeding, and administering medications, and bathing dogs. Strong communication and observation skills are essential, along with meticulous attention to detail. While previous grooming experience is preferred, we will provide comprehensive training to the right candidate. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Essential Job Functions

• Have a complete understanding of breed-standard haircuts.
• Are able to groom all breeds and sizes of dogs.
• Produce high-quality work.
• Demonstrate proficiency and efficiency to groom, brush coats, bathe, dry, trim/grind nails, clean ears, and brush the teeth of dogs.
• Are cooperative, helpful, and careful while capable of working independently.
• Are motivated and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
• Are focused on achieving goals consistently and efficiently.
• Have their own tools.
• Supervise and manage large groups of dogs during open play sessions.
• Remain active and engaged, providing continuous attention and care to all dogs.
• Address behavioral issues proactively using timely and effective techniques—physical force or punishment is strictly prohibited. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for animal mistreatment.
• Maintain constant awareness of the environment and consistently attend to each dog’s individual needs.
• Continuously monitor playrooms and perform immediate spot cleaning throughout your shift to maintain a pristine environment.
• Complete daily cleaning assignments including vacuuming, mopping, trash removal, and scrubbing walls, floors, and bedding.
• Follow proper chemical handling procedures to ensure a safe, sanitized environment.
• Bathe and groom dogs following established standards and protocols.
• Prioritize the safety and comfort of all dogs during bathing and grooming sessions.
• Handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments with confidence and compassionate care.
• Keep the bathing area clean and organized, including laundering towels and sanitizing grooming tools.
• Complete drying, brushing, and finishing services as required.
• Deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication with pet owners regarding their pet’s specific needs.
• Observe pets closely for signs of distress or health concerns during grooming.
• Maintain detailed, accurate service records for each dog.
